The problem

What I built
A full AI receptionist built in n8n. One main workflow routes every call intent to a dedicated sub-workflow, so each path stays simple and testable:
- Client lookup against the business database, so callers are recognized
- Booking flow with live availability checks against the calendar
- Rescheduling and cancellation flows that update records instantly
- Post-call summary logging, so there's a record of every conversation
The result
Inbound calls handled 24/7 without a human receptionist. Bookings, reschedules, and cancellations run themselves, and every call gets logged.
